Spør om time

Together with Element Tattoo and my mental health organisation Ogle we organized second suicide awareness and prevention tattoo flash charity event Ink Therapy.  This time on the World Mental health day in Kulturhuset, Oslo.

This year was the most successful yet.
We had the great honor to be visited by the Latvian ambassador to Norway Dāvis Daudzvārdis.  And briefly talked about the future cooperation possibilities.

We raised just over 25000NOK that will be used in suicide prevention. All that thanks to over 30 people who got tattooed and donated to the cause.

The only way to destigmatize is to talk about it.

In parallel with the tattooing 2 valuable panel discussions and 1 lecture took place.

Finding strength in difficult times and building emotional resilience: A panel conversation about life, stress, and mental health challenges, and what tools and resources can bring resilience and hope.

Discussions with:

Andreas Francisco Myrstad (Mental Helse)
Gints Kronbergs (priest)
Elina Elize Surgunte (Psychology student)
Peter Csorget (InvesTid, mental trainer and health and safety specialist at offshore)
Conversation is led by The Human Aspect   founder Jimmy Westerheim.

When Our Loved Ones Leave Us: An open conversation about grief and loss A space to share experiences and talk about how we cope after losing someone we deeply love.
How do we process grief? Does time really ease the pain?

Participants:

Nina Gjerde, The Norwegian Association LEVE, Peer Support Coordinator
Irena Cepurite, Director of the mental health organization Ogle
Agnese Grāvīte-Rožkalne, Social Pedagogue
Aļona Aleksejeva, Project Manager at Ogle

And finally Lecture: Emotions and ways to regulate them. Emotions play a big role in our daily experiences, but what are they and why is it sometimes hard to deal with them? In this theoretical lecture we will explore the concept of emotions, try to answer some fundamental questions and learn about ways to regulate ourselves.Lecture is led by psychology student Elīna Elīze Surgunte.

Thank you for this year and hopefully see you in Ink Therapy 2026! :)
